Mansfield Hosiery Mills is one of the leading cricket clubs in Nottinghamshire and is accredited by Sport England in their Clubmark scheme. The cricket club is a family club, offering opportunities for people of all abilities to develop their own cricketing skills. The club provides a number of qualified coaches, including current and ex professional cricketers.
Children are first introduced to the basics of the game through the club’s Kwik Cricket Programme. As they develop they can join in one of the club’s many junior sides. The club also has 4 senior sides that offer players the chance to play in the Nottinghamshire Premier League and Bassetlaw Division 2, 5 and 7.
The club is popular locally with many people regularly attending home games during game season. Many junior players go on to represent the local district, county and region.
