Make conducted a roofing survey and collected the required evidence to prepare and submit a Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) bid on behalf of the school. The bid was successful and the School was awarded funds to transform their roofs across the School estate.
Make worked with the appointed Contractor to develop a Construction Phase Plan, ensuring the Academy could remain fully operational throughout the course of the Project. The removal of the rooflights and other aspects of the project that could affect health and safety standards took place throughout the summer break so as to minimise inconvenience to the School and local community. Where works continued in to term time, they were programmed to meet the highest of health and safety standards.
Make provided a full suite of project and contract management services ensuring the school was free from distraction. The School and Governors were kept informed of progress through monthly reports and meetings and payments were managed through Make’s Cost Consultancy services and aligned to key milestones.
