The Projects
After submitting numerous CIF bids on behalf of all schools within the Collegiate, Make were delighted to successfully obtain funding for many of them and were appointed as Project Manager, Principal Designer and Contract Administrator for all schemes.
The Successful Projects
The successful projects that obtained funding through CIF included:
- Fire Safety & Compliance (multiple phases)
- Security and Safeguarding Compliance
- Boiler and Heating Distribution Replacement
In addition to Make’s involvement through CIF, Make has also acted as Lead Consultant on a nursery extension to increase early years provision at Our Lady and St Werburgh’s Catholic Primary School.

2023-2024 – 3 bids submitted – 2 bids successful – Value £495,582
2024-2025 – 7 bids submitted – 5 bids successful – Value £1,614,022
The Outcome
To date, Make has secured £2.5m of funding through the Condition Improvement Fund over the course of the last 3 years and has delivered £3m of projects in total. Looking forward, Make is currently undertaking surveys and advising on project prioritisation for the forthcoming CIF bidding round (2025-26) at all schools within the Collegiate as we continue to support our valued Client.
